His Excellency Sen. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has offered the Amana Clinic to the Kano State Taskforce on Covid-19, to help in the fight against the dreaded Coronavirus pandemic.
AMANA CLINIC is a newly built, fully equipped medical facility with 65 beds capacity, located along Miller Road, Bompai, Kano. The medical facility was built to serve as a health centre for the less privileged, but considering the healthcare challenges caused by the current global pandemic, Sen. Kwankwaso has decided to release the medical complex, to be used by the committee as an isolation centre, so as to contribute towards defeating the deadly Coronavirus.
While wishing all those infected with the virus quick recovery and praying for the repose of the souls of those that lost their lives including the late Chief of Staff to the President, Malam Abba Kyari, Sen. Kwankwaso also commends our health workers and all those providing essential services who are in the frontline. He also appreciates the contributions of individuals and corporate bodies who have in one way or the other provided some form of relief for the Kano people during this trying period.
Finally, he enjoins the general public to continue observing hygienic measures and practicing social distancing, to minimize the spread of the virus, as recommended by health professionals.
